Career Services at Texas State University supports students’ career development by coordinating university wide programs and resources that connect academic learning with post-graduation preparation. Services focus on career education, employer engagement, and experiential learning initiatives that help students make informed decisions about their professional pathways.

Career Planning and Exploration - Career center staff help students identify interests and skills related to prospective career fields and develop plans that align academic experiences with future goals. 

Job Search Assistance – Job Search assistance offers guidance on identifying employment or internship opportunities, developing application materials, and preparing for interviews.

Internships - Career Center staff facilitate connections between coursework and practical experience by helping to identify and manage internship opportunities, including those tied to academic credit.

Employer Connections - Career Services works closely with employers to connect students with industry partners through career fairs, information sessions, on-campus interviews, and networking events.
