The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a statewide program designed to enhance student preparedness for college-level coursework. As part of this initiative, all students enrolling in Texas public colleges and universities must complete assessments that measure proficiency in Mathematics and English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR). Based on assessment results, some students may be required to complete developmental coursework to strengthen their academic skills. Additional information about the program, assessment requirements, and possible exemptions is available in the Academic Policies section of the catalog under Texas Legislative Requirements.
