The School of Criminal Justice and Criminology offers graduate programs at the master's and doctoral levels that prepare students for leadership, research, and academic careers in criminal justice. The School is home to an internationally-known faculty whose research spans policing, courts, corrections, criminological theory, public policy, and advanced quantitative methods.

The Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) is available in multiple tracks and prepares students for leadership positions in criminal justice agencies as well as for advanced doctoral study. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Criminal Justice equips students with the methodological expertise and scholarly experience necessary for careers as researchers, policy analysts, and university faculty. Doctoral students may pursue the degree full-time or part-time, and full-time students are eligible for funding through teaching or research assistantships.

The School also houses and maintains partnerships with several affiliated institutes and centers that support its research and training mission.
